Free phone number QR code generator
A phone number QR code opens the dialer with your number ready, so people call you with one tap instead of typing digits from a sign. It uses a standard tel link that every smartphone understands. Forever QR makes it for free, and it never expires.
Free, no signup. Made in your browser and never expires.
How to make one
- Open Forever QR and choose Phone.
- Enter the number with + and the country code, for example +1 818 555 0100.
- Add a frame with a call to action such as Scan to call.
- Download and print.
What's inside a phone QR code
tel:+18185550100Spaces, dashes and brackets are removed so every phone dials the number correctly.
Where it helps most
- Vehicle wraps and yard signs, where people can't write a number down
- Flyers and door hangers
- Product packaging and service stickers
Signs read from a distance need a bigger code. A sign read from 10 feet away needs a code about 12 inches wide. See the size guide.
Questions
- Does it call automatically?
- No. The phone shows the number and the person taps to call.
- Does it work on landlines?
- The code needs a smartphone to scan it, but the number it dials can be any phone number.
