Free vCard QR code generator
A vCard QR code holds a contact card. Scanning it opens the phone's Add Contact screen with your name, phone numbers, email, company and website already filled in. Forever QR writes the contact into the code itself in the standard vCard 3.0 format, so there is no hosted page that can expire or go offline.
Free, no signup. Made in your browser and never expires.
How to make one
- Open Forever QR and choose Contact.
- Fill in only the fields people need. Name, mobile number and email are usually enough.
- Check the scan result, then download the code.
- Print it on your business card, badge or sign, or add it to your email signature.
What's inside a contact QR code

vCard code or a link to a profile page?
A vCard code saves the contact even with no internet connection, and nothing can expire. A link to a profile page can be edited later, but it only works while that page stays online. If you change jobs often, point a static link code at a page you control and update the page instead.
On business cards
Print the code at least 0.8 inches (2 cm) wide, with dark modules on a light background and a clear border around it. See QR codes for business cards for layout tips.
Questions
- Will the contact update if my number changes?
- No. A static code holds the details you entered. Make and print a new code when your details change.
- Do iPhone and Android open contact codes?
- Yes. The built-in camera on current iPhones and most Android phones shows an option to add the contact.
- Can I include a photo?
- No. A photo would make the code far too dense to scan, so Forever QR doesn't include one.
- Is my contact information stored anywhere?
- No. The code is made in your browser and your details never reach our servers.
