Terms of Service

Last updated October 13, 2026

In short: Forever QR makes static QR codes in your browser, and it is free. You own what you make and you are responsible for where your codes point.

Who we are

Forever QR is operated by Media City Design LLC, Burbank, California ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@mediacitydesign.com. By using Forever QR you agree to these terms.

The service

Forever QR lets you create static QR codes. The content of each code is encoded directly in the code, so codes do not depend on our servers to work. Codes are generated in your web browser.

Free to use

Forever QR is free. There are no accounts, subscriptions or paid features. We may add, change or remove features, or stop offering Forever QR. If we stop offering it, we will post notice on this site at least 30 days in advance. Codes you have already made keep working regardless, because they do not depend on us.

Your content and your codes

You own the codes you create and the content in them. You are responsible for that content and for the destinations your codes point to. Do not use Forever QR to create codes that link to malware, phishing, or anything illegal, or that infringe someone else's rights.

Scan tests are a check, not a guarantee

Forever QR tests each code digitally before download. Printing, materials, size, lighting and the scanning device all affect real world results. Always scan a printed proof before printing in quantity.

No warranty

Forever QR is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including the cost of reprinting materials, and our total liability for any claim related to Forever QR is limited to fifty US dollars.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and note the change on this page. Continuing to use Forever QR after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
