In short: your codes are made in your browser. Links, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, presets and history never leave your device. There are no accounts, and nothing you make is stored on our servers.
What stays on your device
Everything you put into a code, including links, Wi-Fi passwords, contact cards, messages, calendar events, locations, logos and CSV files for bulk export, is processed in your browser and is not sent to us. Images you upload to the code checker are read in your browser and are not uploaded.
Your browser keeps your current design, your brand presets and your code history so the app remembers them between visits. They stay in that browser on that device. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
What we store on our server
Nothing you make. Forever QR has no accounts and no database of codes, presets or history.
Service providers
We use Netlify to host the site. Like most websites, our host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations.
No tracking
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not count scans of your codes. Scans go straight to your destination and never touch our servers.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Children
Forever QR is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
